This position reports directly to the Senior Director, Acquisition & Account Strategy.
Responsibilities:
Customer Acquisition
- Close and grow sales through professional communication with potential clients in our marketplace
- Conduct daily outbound call and email efforts to successfully fill the top of the sales pipeline with net new opportunities
- Expand market awareness of our products and our industry experience by communicating our offering effectively
- Research contacts and accounts for firmographic data and collaborate with marketing on pertinent target messaging
- Perform due diligence and research prospective accounts to gain knowledge prior to first appointments
- Manage customer requirements by engaging with clients to understand and anticipate their needs
- Effectively engage presales resources to build out proper solutions based on client requirements
- Deliver technical presentations to decision makers and prospective buyers
- Progress leads from open to closed won
- Complete documentation covering data about contacts, leads, and accounts, as well as your interactions and opportunities in the Company’s CRM
- Maintain knowledge of competitor products and identify and report intelligence on competitor pricing and marketing strategies
- Account Management
- Maintain closed-won customer relationships thru successful renewal
- Provide awareness of pertinent client information, future plans, payment performance
- Identify and ensure resolution of customer concerns
- Coordinate Company sta to provide exemplary service to customers
- Work with the engineering team to ensure customer project requirements are met
- Responsible for documenting activities, next steps, and status of accounts in CRM
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of B2B direct sales experience with emphasis on actively closing net new accounts, with at least 2 years of MSP sales experience
- Technology sales or technical services sales experience
- Experience delivering presentations and strong interpersonal communication
- Proven ability to connect with key account influencers and decision-makers
- Commensurate CRM experience, Salesforce preferred
- Proficiency in modern work tools, Microsoft Office Suite and Slack preferred
- Valid driver’s license
